What Is It?

Peralassery Sri Subramanya Temple is situated 14 km away from Kannur in Kerala which is known to house several temples. Lord Subramanya, the son of Lord Shiva, is worshipped here.

The idol is in the form of a serpent, eggs being the main offering! The main attraction at the temple is the beautifully crafted geometrical structure of the temple pond stepwell. It comes closest to the Baori structure found in North India.
