Portugal Implements New Regulation; Work Visa Now Mandatory For Foreign Job Seekers

Portugal, a country known for its stunning coastlines, rich history, and welcoming atmosphere, has recently implemented a new regulation for foreign nationals seeking employment. As of now, most foreign job seekers will need to obtain a work visa from a Portuguese consulate before entering the country. This change signifies a shift in Portugal’s immigration policy, moving from a system where individuals could enter on a tourist visa and then apply for residency upon finding work.
