When a client comes in for any company, it’s a moment of immense pride, hope, and expectations of goodwill. This is how we, Curly Tales as a media company, feel as well. Trying to bring out the best the world has to offer to our readers, we too jump with joy, when we bring a new client onboard. Alas! This has not been the case with Pride Of Cows. We recently shared quite an unpleasant experience with them and now, we’re here with our side of the story. This experience has truly left us feeling disappointed, as it’s unprofessional and dishonourable.
Here’s What Went Wrong!
Pride Of Cows, a product of Parag Milk Foods had signed a deal with Curly Tales to create a video on coverage and an interview with their founder. This deal that had been signed in December of 2023. Although we work on an advance payment of 50%, we still provided them with a script for the video and an article is also there for them in the draft. Ever since all we have received are multiple rounds of alternations, and these have also been shared with the client. However no execution date has been given till now, and advances haven’t been released either. Yes, since then, we have only been given multiple false promises on the execution and on our advances to be released.
In fact, we have also constantly been in touch with the client Pournima Surve. Additionally, we have also been in touch with SPOCs Chriselle and Rishad from Communicate India, a media agency, as they were the facilitators of the deal, but nothing has worked out. Till now, we have just been given a false commitment that the payments would be released within the week, but it seems this ‘week’ is currently out of sight!
While we wouldn’t ideally be writing about this, but this is not an ideal situation either. It’s not just unprofessional but also a waste of time and effort. The dishonourable conduct by Pride Of Cows is not only disheartening to all the employees’ hard work but also damaging to the company’s efforts. And now, the incident has left us feeling disappointed!
So, in an effort to make people aware of such tactless behaviour, we decided to bring this story out and share it with our readers.
