A Qatar Airways flight to London had to deboard its flyers at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata. A man in the plane suddenly started shouting that there was a bomb in the aircraft, just before it was to take-off. Because of this, all 541 passengers had to be deboarded from the flight.

On Tuesday, at 3:29am, the Qatar Airways flight to London deboarded 541 flyers following a fake bomb scare. The plane was getting ready to take off from Kolkata when suddenly a passenger started shouting.
All the passengers were offloaded, and the plane was evacuated after the man shouted that the plane had a bomb. The authorities called the bomb squad, and a thorough search for the bomb was conducted in the plane. After the search, no bomb was found inside the aircraft.
The plane got delayed because of the bomb scare. The man who shouted about the bomb was immediately arrested. The man who was arrested was also interrogated by the CISF (Central Industrial Security Force).

The man who was arrested and interrogated for creating a fake bomb scare was identified as being from Kolkata. The man is 35 years old and said that another passenger scared him into thinking there was a bomb in the Qatar airways aircraft.
The father of the arrested man was called at the airport and produced medical certificates showing that his son was undergoing treatment for a medical illness.
All the passengers had to face a lot of inconvenience because of this bomb scare. They had to wait for several hours before they could board another flight to London. The Qatar Airways flight was flying to London from Kolkata via Doha.
