Qatar has announced new visa-on-arrival requirements for travellers from India. The Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar announced changes in obtaining Visa on Arrival(VOA) to Qatar for nationals of India, Iran and Pakistan. Travellers From India Must Book Hotels Available On Discover Qatar Website Only

Indian travellers to Qatar can get a free tours visa on arrival to Qatar during the entire duration of a Confirmed Hotel Reservation for hotels only available on the Discover Qatar Website only. This new visa-on-arrival mandate to Qatar was implemented on April 14, 2022. Travellers can also extend the visa-on-arrival for a maximum of 60 days by extending their hotel reservation stay.

Guidelines To Get Visa On Arrival To Qatar

However, in order to get the Qatar Visa On Arrival by Indian, nationals, there are certain guidelines that need to be followed. Firstly, travellers must have a valid passport for not less than 6 months. Moreover, they must have a confirmed return ticket and confirmed hotel reservation to any hotel listed on the Discover Qatar Website only for the intended period. When it comes to Covid-19 guidelines, travellers from India must take a negative PCR test 48 hours from the time of departure, a certificate must be shown, confirming the same. Next, register electronically on the Ehteraz platform to get approval from the Ministry of Public Health prior to travelling.
