Rahul Gandhi On Bharat Jodo Yatra

On Sunday Brunch with Curly Tales, Congressman Rahul Gandhi states how the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which he is leading, has a remarkable amount of support throughout the nation. He added that the march aims to fight the growth of fear and intolerance in the society as well as unemployment and inflation. Why are you marching? Regarding Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, the point is significant. On January 3, the yatra departed from Delhi towards Srinagar. Since its beginning on September 7, 2022, in Kanyakumari, the yatra has surprised critics by attracting sizable crowds all along its course. This 3,570-kilometre expedition would take 150 days to complete with lakhs of participants.

According to him, another goal of the yatra is to give the public access to the country’s actual voice. Gandhi said he learned a lot during the tour from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, which is currently travelling through Rajasthan.

There is another goal of this yatra that we are witnessing. To Gandhi, this yatra is a tapasya. He says that lakhs of people are walking beside him in this tapasya. All around the country are joining the yatra from Kerela, some from Tamil Nadu and some from Madhya Pradesh. He says that Bharat Jodo has brought him closer to people and the problems that the country’s people, especially the youth, are facing. Rahul Gandhi is getting direct input on unemployment and inflation from people across the country. What he discovered in this yatra are patience and Indian culture.

As the Bharat Jodo Yatra continues, he says, “The culture is completely different. Food, languages, music – everything is different. And it changes, not just at the state boundaries but also within.” The Congress leader underlined in our discussion that the main goal of the Bharat Jodo Yatra is to increase public awareness of “unity”. Other concerns raised include local politics, growing prices, and unemployment. He strikes a chord with Indians by highlighting various issues and responding to questions on the rights and issues of minorities, women, and youths.
