Interestingly, the history of Haldiram’s dates all the way back to 1937. Ganga Bishan Agarwal, fondly called Haldiram Ji, opened a retail sweets and namkeen shop in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The company later opened its first food factory in Kolkata. Since then, there has been no turning back. Currently, it has a net worth of ₹12,490 crores. Now, that’s food for thought!
