Once a princely city, Jaisalmer is located in the heart of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. Rawal Jaisal built the majestic Jaisalmer Fort on Trikuta Hill, Rajasthan in 1156 AD. This means the fort is around 868 years old in 2024! It is steeped in the history, culture and traditions of Rajasthan.
