Dubai’s favourite Global Village is back for its 27th season. It is a one-stop destination to enjoy the world’s finest entertainment, shopping and dining experiences. It is a yearly attraction that begins in October and ends in April. It is known as one cultural melting pot where more than 80 cultures blend into one. Every year, this open-air destination comes up with something unique for its visitors to experience. This year, Global Village is bigger and better than ever, and we have some special glimpses for you. Take a look.

On 25th October, the opening day, Global Village Dubai saw a massive crowd of visitors. The biggest attraction this year is that you can get a bird’s eye, 360-degree view of the entire village by hopping on a helium balloon.
About 18 nations will be representing themselves in about 40 kiosks. The countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Taiwan, Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Bhutan, Vietnam and the Philippines.
This year, one of the new additions to Global Village is the House of Fear. One can record themselves with the help of the new wearable wrist cameras. A group of actors will be appearing in about 9 scenarios in the haunted house.

Dubai’s favourite water taxi is also back for the 27th season of Global Village. The Electric Abras will be available for all visitors to enjoy.
Choose from more than 40,000 amazing shows that offer world-class entertainment. Stunt shows, international street entertainment, cultural performances, main stage performances, kid’s shows, and so on. You will surely be spoilt for choice.
There will be more informative booths on the ground this year. The new Happiness Gate will help manage the traffic that visits this one-stop destination in Dubai.
