1. Daringbadi

This hilly town in Odisha with pine forests, gushing waterfalls, rolling hills and misty trails is so stunning that it is often referred to as the ‘Kashmir of Odisha.’ The hill station is home to plateaus and valleys with coffee and pepper gardens. The town is in the Kandhamal district, at a height of around 3000 feet above sea level. Daringbari is a quiet town, where one can hear the sounds of the waterfalls and the chirrups of the birds louder. Also, every year in winter, Daringbadi receives snowfall.

2. Tensa

Perched at around 3700 metres above sea level, Tensa is a magical town in the Sundargarh district of Odisha. At Tensa, there are sprawling stretches of thick forests, green meadows and hills. It is nearly 93 kilometres from Rourkela. Major attractions near Tensa include Khandadhar waterfall and Shanti Stupa.

3. Mahendragiri

Mahendragiri in the Gajapati district of Odisha has religious and mythological significance. It is the second-highest mountain peak in Odisha after Deomali. 5. Taptapani
