According to a recent study by luxury travel operator Kuoni, Dubai’s Al Sufouh Beach has been rated the world’s second most gorgeous beach. The Maldives’ Niyama Private Island Beach came was ranked first, followed by Al Sufouh Beach. This beach, dubbed “one of Dubai’s hidden jewels,” is a must-see for visitors seeking spectacular water views as well as a sight of some of the city’s most outstanding structures, and is the ideal spot to watch the dawn or sunset.

The top five are Bai Sao in Vietnam, Cape Drastis in Greece, and Pensacola Beach in the United States. UK, Hawaii, Italy, Thailand, and the Philippines rounded up to the top ten. A collection of 61 places and beaches from across the world were compiled using desk research. It was then followed by showing a series of photos of various locations to a group of 36 people to establish the rankings. The eye-tracking software then captured the overall number of times participants glanced at various locations, as well as the average amount of times they glanced at each place, as well as viewing spans.

World’s Most Amazing Natural Marvels

Apart from the best beach award, Kuoni also selected the world’s most stunning natural wonders or markers formed by nature to which the human eye is most lured, using the same methodology.

A total of 50 photos were gathered and prompts were tracked to provide a 15-spot score.

Peyto Lake in Canada was considered to be the most beautiful natural wonder. Meeru Island in the Maldives and the Jurassic Coast in the U.K.Yosemite, El Yunque National Forest, and the Grand Canyon ranked top five in North America.

Lakes, caverns, and waterfalls are among the winners on the list of natural water-based wonders. The Puerto Princesa Underground River was featured on the list of places to visit in the Philippines.
