If you have ever decided to move out of your parents’ house and shift to a different city for work or college, you probably know how scary it is. Living in an unfamiliar city with no family or friends around is a huge task. Being on your own is a challenge in itself, but what if your neighbours and colleagues aren’t welcoming as well? That will be so much worse and will make adjustment all the more difficult. To help people make the right decision while moving to another city or country, Preply recently took it upon itself to reveal a community spirit index. 

Mumbai Is One Of The Unfriendliest Cities In The World

Based on six parameters, they ranked 53 cities from around the world and ranked them in two lists of the friendliest and unfriendliest cities in the world. Many cities from all over the world found a place on these lists, as did two Indian cities. Yes, Mumbai and Delhi were ranked as the unfriendliest cities in the world. Mumbai was ranked third on this list with a 3.78 score for happiness.

The first on this list of least friendly cities for non-natives is Accra, Ghana, with a friendliness score of 3.12 out of 10. In second place with a 3.69 friendliness score is Marrakech, Morocco. In third place, of course, is Mumbai, with 3.91% friendly staff. Next on the list are Kuala Lumpur, Rio de Janeiro, and Delhi. Delhi scored 4.01 in happiness and has 3.27%, friendly staff.

Toronto & Sydney Scored The First Spot On The Friendliest Cites List

As per Preply, there are some amazing cities for non-natives as well. The first place on this list was bagged by Toronto and Sydney, with both of them scoring 7.96 out of 10 for friendliness. These cities have the most inclusive communities in the world that make all non-natives feel welcome. With great happiness and safety scores also, these two cities are certainly some of the best for people to move to.
