This Meetha Paan From Varanasi Is Named After Shah Rukh Khan And Costs ₹35

It’s King Khan’s birthday today. Well, his fandom is something else only. People from all walks of life appreciate his charm and charisma. One hard-core fan from Varanasi did something extreme to show his love for the superstar. A Banarasi paan vendor renamed a meetha paan after the superstar. This happened after Shah Rukh Khan relished a sweet paan at his shop.

While promoting his film ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ with Anushka Sharma and Imtiaz Ali in Banaras, he visited this shop. And how can they miss paan banarasiya when they are in the holy city of Lord Shiva? All three of them relished the local yet famous Banaras ka paan.

The trio went to the Tabulam Paan Shop which is almost 70-year-old. Instead of trying something fancy, they all went ahead with a meetha paan of ₹35. Satish Kumar, the owner of this shop, made a chilled meetha pan for them. The cast of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ loved the paan.

Here’s Why Satish Renamed The Paan After Shah Rukh Khan

As soon as SRK left the shop, a large crowd gathered to ask Satish Kumar about the meetha pan that Shah Rukh Khan was enjoying. People also started tasting this delicious paan at this ancient shop. All the passers-by told Satish Kumar to make meetha paan the same as Shah Rukh Khan’s. In fact, not just from Banaras, people from other cities also came here to relish the same paan that Shah Rukh Khan did.

After seeing this craziness and love for an ordinary meetha paan, Satish renamed the paan as ‘Shah Rukh Khan Paan’.
