Mumbai has always been a city with a rich historical and cultural background that permeates its streets. The more time one spends in Mumbai, the more one appreciates and relates to the city’s charm. It has fascinated people from around the world, and these Hollywood stars are no exception. The city was recently packed with the who’s who of the tinsel town for the inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Convention Centre and stars like Gigi Hadid, Tom Holland and Zendaya didn’t miss the chance to explore Mumbai’s vibrant streets.
A boutique travel experience company, No Footprints started by Harshvardhan Tanwar in November 2013 was behind this. The team took the actors and the supermodel around the city to the vibrant sights, sounds and culture. Aditya Pai of No Footprints organised a yacht tour on the Arabian Sea along the Mumbai coastline for actors Tom Holland and Zendaya. The tour, called ‘Strange Stories of the Seas of Bombay!’, aimed to educate the actors on Mumbai’s history and local cultures. The beginning of the tour revolved around the Kolis, the original inhabitants of Mumbai, and the city’s history. The tour passed by historical landmarks such as the CSMVS Museum, the Taj Mahal Hotel and Marine Drive along with bringing insights of urban narratives.

Co-founder, Harshvardhan Tanwar took supermodel Gigi Hadid and her team on a tour of Mumbai, called ‘Jio Mumbai city tour’. It included stops at the iconic Gateway of India, Kala Ghoda, the University, and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangralaya. The tour also had insights into the American connection and its historic significance to Mumbai. The tour ended on the Victoria Terminus with the team sipping on refreshing coconut water while taking in the breathtaking view of the magnificent train station.

These tours were held for other famous personalities, including Dior’s Maria Grazia Chiuri, Chanakya’s Karishma Swali, Emma Chamberlain, and Katy Graham. Each tour was unique and catered to the guest’s interests, making for a truly personalised experience.
