Prime Minister Modi was here to personally condole the demise in the Gulf nation of former UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

When Prime Minister Modi arrived in the UAE, the president greeted him with open arms. UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan greeted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As soon as he arrived at the airport, he went straight to the Prime Minister of India and gave him a bear embrace. Because of his enormous status on the international stage, Prime Minister Modi is held in high esteem by every other world leader.
