The end of last year saw the elimination of the 3-Month or 90-day visa and the introduction of a long-term 60-day visa for travellers planning longer stays in the nation. One of the call centre employees at the Federal Authority For Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) indicated that anyone who wants to travel to the UAE for 90 days is welcome to take advantage of the opportunity.

Industry insiders claim that by the end of May 2023, this will have been reinstated, allowing guests to stay in the UAE for up to 90 days. However, depending on the service provider, the visa may be extendable within the nation for an additional fee. A 90-day visit visa costs between Dh1,500 and Dh2,000, with Dh1,500 serving as the starting point. According to Khaleej Times, a Dh1,000 refundable fee was required for this visa in February 2023. As a result, the cost of this 90-day visa has clearly increased.
