Remember the visa update announced by UAE Visa Authorities last year? Well, we are talking about how ICP scrapped the 90-day visit visa in UAE and shifted it to 30 or 60 days. But guess what, the 3-Month visit visa has been revived, thanks to the Federal Authority of UAE. With the revival news, we have also noticed a price change for this visit visa. Let’s dive into the details of this visa.
Re-Introduction Of 3-Month Visit Visa In UAE
The end of last year saw the elimination of the 3-Month or 90-day visa and the introduction of a long-term 60-day visa for travellers planning longer stays in the nation. One of the call centre employees at the Federal Authority For Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) indicated that anyone who wants to travel to the UAE for 90 days is welcome to take advantage of the opportunity.
Industry insiders claim that by the end of May 2023, this will have been reinstated, allowing guests to stay in the UAE for up to 90 days. However, depending on the service provider, the visa may be extendable within the nation for an additional fee. A 90-day visit visa costs between Dh1,500 and Dh2,000, with Dh1,500 serving as the starting point. According to Khaleej Times, a Dh1,000 refundable fee was required for this visa in February 2023. As a result, the cost of this 90-day visa has clearly increased.
Where To Apply?
Voted as one of the best-enhanced systems to apply for visas, the Advanced Visa System was launched in October 2022. However, several travel agencies have reported that they are unable to use the system to apply for this visa.
It has been reported that applicants must submit their applications online through the GDRFA website. They can also access an American typing centre or use the app.
Now that you know where to apply for this 3-Month visa, let’s find out the documents you would need for the application process.
1. Copy of Passport

A compilation of 15 services that were upgraded in the ICA’s smart services system as of February 1, 2023, has been authorised. Will the price for other visa services also set to increase in the coming months?
