UAE authorities urged those aged 16 and above to take the covid vaccine to break the chain of infection. And on the same, Pali Nahal, acting vice-principal at Uptown International School, said to a leading daily that over 100 pupils at the school had received both doses of the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine under their initiative.

60 Per Cent Of Private Education Staff In Abu Dhabi Has Received The First Dose of The Vaccine
The school took permission from the parents, and once they got the consent, they arranged for the students to get the vaccine. Gems Education was also able to hold graduation since almost all the pupils had received the vaccine. Teresa Varman also said that vaccinating pupils brings them one step closer to normalcy.
In terms of vaccine, more than eight in 10 private school teachers in Dubai have received their first dose. In January, 60 per cent of private education staff – 15,000 people – in Abu Dhabi received the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine following a two-week vaccination drive organised by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge.
Well, we hope all the pupils get inoculated soon.
