On this amazing episode of Tere Gully Mein, she joined our anchor, Arohi Thatte for street shopping and more in Vile Parle, Mumbai. We were surprised to learn that Uorfi wore 6-inch high heels on Mumbai’s BEST bus!
Uorfi Javed Wore 6 Inch High Heels In Mumbai’s BEST Bus
She wore enormous platform heels as we strolled around Vile Parle’s Irla Market and also told us that she is always in heels. Just before starting the segment of street shopping, Arohi was worried about how Uorfi Javed would manage to walk in such high heels. The high heels on Mumbai’s roads were Arohi’s concern while this was a piece of cake for our guest! She assured us that she could not only walk in these heels but could also run in them.
We were surprised to know when she informed us, “Tum believe nahi karogi ki jab main Mumbai aayi thi na, main BEST buses mein bhi aise hi chadhti thi.” Arohi just said, “What?” in response to disbelief. She shared that she used to travel in BEST during her earlier days in Mumbai and that too wearing six-inch high heels. There is a reason she gets praised for her fashion sense and we certainly see it.

She Gave Us A Demo Of Running In High Heels
Arohi couldn’t help but ask her to show us how it is done and Uorfi Javed agreed immediately. We did this under safety measures and you are not allowed to attempt this in any manner unless you are Uorfi in six-inch high heels. Arohi said that she could cross this small red light junction. Uorfi made sure that the red light was in fact in red.
Before we could make sense of anything, she quickly crossed the road, making sure to raise her hands as an indication for vehicles to stop. Arohi replied, “Wow that was some run man!” Uorfi just said that this was all practiced and she is trained in high heels.
