If you are planning a trip to Bhutan, you surely need to add the famous Jigme Dorji National Park to your itinerary. There are simply too many amazing experiences to enjoy and witness at this destination. One of the many reasons that make the park a must-visit among visitors is that it is home to wild animals such as snow leopards, blue sheep, the Royal Bengal Tiger, Bhutan takin, Ussuri dhole, black musk deer, and more fauna.

It holds an impressive record of having a rich biodiversity with exquisite flora and fauna. From birds to mammals, you get to witness views of so many spectacular lives in between the natural aura.

This destination is also famous for bird watching. Bird watchers often plan a day here just to see flocks of birds in different parts of the Jigme Dorji National Park. If you also wish to do the same, make sure you visit early in the morning as these hours are the best time to enjoy this experience.   • Simply book a cab from Thimphu and enjoy a road trip of about 122 km for around 5 hours to reach this place.
  • To get cabs at the regional cost, book one from the North Bengal Tourism car rental service, according to a report by North Bengal Tourism.
  • You will find great options for hotels and stays close to the national park. There are no accommodation properties for tourists inside.
