What To Wear On Long Haul-Flights? Here’s A Guide

The world is now open to travel, thanks to many countries that have lifted Covid restrictions. Long haul flights are totally killing unless you are a celebrity who owns a private jet. The only reason long haul flights are survivable is thinking of the beautiful destination the struggle leads to. But what you wear is also something that can make long haul flights a bit easier for you. Here’s the guide.

Be Comfortable

The very first point to keep in mind while deciding what to wear is to wear something comfortable. I mean you are no celebrity who is going to be papped at the airport and has to be conscious about your look. So why wear something that is trendy but not comfortable? Long haul flights are as it is difficult, so do not add to the pain with clothes that are not comfortable.

Loose, Breathable And Stretchy

Wear fabrics that are breathable because you will be sharing space with others. Fabrics like cotton, linen, etc. help you to maintain your body temperature, allowing air in and out keeping moisture away. Secondly wearing activewear or stretchy jeggings would be a good idea. Tops can be loose and comfortable to avoid constant adjusting.

Slip-On Shoes

The seat is going to be your bed for the next few hours so you might feel like getting rid of your shoes. Laces and buckles will actually be irritating at a point and hence slip-on shoes are the best option. You can simply slip your shoes in and out whenever needed and feel comfortable.

Warm Woollen Socks

You cannot feel warm if your toes are cold, so make sure to keep or use warm woollen socks while on long haul flights. This will add a bit more comfort to your flight. You can also wear compression stockings or socks to avoid swelling.
