World Food India 2023: All That’s In Store At The Food Fest Happening In Delhi In Nov

The Government of India is gearing up for its flagship event. The details for the second edition of World Food India are here. The event will be a huge opportunity for food processing and allied industries to interact and showcase their USPs and their expertise. This particular event will also help invite foreign investment within the country and will help the industrial sector of India to develop further. Here are the venue and dates of this much-anticipated event.

World Food India 2023: Venue & Date

After the grand success of the first edition of World Food India in 2017, the flagship event is back in 2023 with its focal point being the International Year of Millets 2023. The second edition of World Food India will take place in the first week of the month of November.

The event will go on for three days and will begin from the 3rd of November to the 5th of November in 2023. It will take place at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. It will be the foremost site for the food processing and allied industries to strut their stuff and showcase their USPs.

While speaking about the event, Pashupati Kumar Paras, the Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, highlighted the five crucial elements of the WFI 2023. They are Shree Anna, the superfood of India; Innovation and Sustainability ‘Green Food’; White revolution 2.0; making India an export hub; and focus on technology and digitization.

Focus On International Year Of Millets 2023

Since 2023 has been declared as the international year of millets, the event will place a huge amount of focus on millets and how they can help invite foreign investment to the country. It is an attempt to show that since India is a developing economy, it offers a lot of investment opportunities, especially in the food processing and allied sectors. The event is hoped to be attended by leading industrialists and many distinguished personalities from the Indian ministry.
