Yas Island To Bring Back Live Concerts And Fireworks For Eid Al Adha

Eid Al Adha is around the corner, and UAE is set to celebrate the festivities in style by having a live concert. Yep, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced that a series of concerts featuring supremely famous regional talents will take place on Yas Island during Eid Al Adha. Etihad Arena To Host A Live Concert For Eid Al Adha Between July 22 And 23

Between July 22 and 23, UAE-ites can look forward to electrifying concerts from Assala Nasri, Hussein Al Jasmi, Tamer Hosny and Myriam Fares at the Etihad Arena. Tickets for the same are on sale now and are available in groups, and the prices for the same start at AED 195.

Yas Island Will Also Have A Series Of Firework Shows To Celebrate Eid 

The concerts will be live finally for the first time since March 2020, featuring the biggest regional superstars. Well, not only live concerts but Firework displays are also set to take place at Yas Island. Yas Marina will celebrate Eid Al Adha with a stunning display of fireworks at 9 PM from the Yas Bay waterfront. The event will be live-streamed on Yas Island’s social media channels for everyone to enjoy virtually, as gatherings are prohibited under the island’s Covid-19 precautionary safety measures.

In terms of the holidays, UAE-ites are likely to get one week off this time with the holiday expected to begin with a day off for Arafat Day. Post that, there will be a further three days off for Eid, taking the holiday up to Thursday, July 22. The exact date is not yet known, as it depends on the sighting of the moon, it is believed it will start on July 19.
