This Valentine’s Day, you can name a cockroach after someone you hate at the Toronto Zoo in Canada. It sounds funny, but it’s not a bad idea!

These Critters Help Decompose Waste
Jokes aside! This campaign has helped pull people’s attention towards these little creatures. These critters do a lot more than scare people. They help in the decomposition of the waste in the forest. This campaign is more of a fundraiser, just like many other zoos in the United States conduct. The amount that you will pay to name a cockroach, this Valentine’s Day will be considered a donation to the zoo’s fundraising efforts.
The person who donates this amount will also receive a tax receipt, a digital graphic, and a digital copy of the certificate with the cockroach’s name. You can share this with anyone you like. All you have to do is go to the official website of the zoo and then go to ‘dedicate your donation’ and then fill in the person’s name, ‘in honour of’.
