The sacred groves, the smell of coffee beans as it’s known for its fine coffee plantation, the lush green forests and mightly hills, you can experience it all here. Away from chaotic metro cities, Coorg is a perfect place to chill with your friends. There are ample number of waterfalls here like Abbey waterfall, Chelavara waterfall, forest camps in the mountains where you can stay with your friends for some time. You can also experience the roaring currents through the Barapole River. The best thing about Coorg is that you can go there any time of the year as the weather is always pleasant here.

Shops full of beautiful jewellery, juttis, leheriya dupattas, traditional blue pottery, this place is a heaven for a shopaholic. Be it a 300-year old Hawa Mahal, the gorgeous Amer Fort, the City Palace, Nahargarh Fort or traditional markets of Jaipur, each and every place here will take you by awe. Along with beautiful landscapes, sheer cliffs, long empty roads and gorgeous lakes, you can go all spiritual at the Spituk Gompa monastery, or do river rafting at Zanskar and also enjoy the local food there. Humble people, cleanliness, dresses, food and the music are some aspects that makes touring around Gangtok quite memorable. This charming hill station is surrounded by beautiful scenery at every step, especially stunning views of the snow-capped Mount Kanchenjunga. There are many beautiful monasteries and lakes as well. Moreover, you can also opt for a Cable car which provides a spectacular view of Gangtok market, valley and other places in its 15 to 20 minutes journey.
