Zoho To Offer 6000 Free Meals Daily To Rural Areas In Tamil Nadu

India is currently tackling a tragic battle against the second coronavirus wave. And everyone not just in India but across the world is doing their bit to help people survive the ordeal From nations like Italy, New Zealand sending medical equipment and funds,  netizens using social media to create awareness to home cooks delivering healthy meals at the doorsteps of Covid patients. And now, Zoho’s billionaire and CEO, Sridhar Vembu has pledged to offer 6000 free meals daily to people in need in the rural regions of Tamil Nadu. 

Zoho To Provide Free Meals In Rural Areas In Tamil Nadu

Sridhar Vembu took to his Twitter handle to announce that he shall offer free food through kitchens in Chennai (Guduvanvhery), rural Mathalamparai in the Tenkasi district and Gudalur in the Theni district of Tamil Nadu. He added that Zoho shall restart kitchens and deliver meals to the above-mentioned areas. Vembu informed,  “A lot of people are impacted in the second wave, going hungry. We have restarted our kitchens, delivering meals in Chennai (Guduvanchery), Tenkasi and soon Gudalur in Theni, the places where we have good kitchen facilities. We are at 6000 meals a day and will double that soon.”
