With the advent of technology, things have become so easy for each of us. From buying clothes to ordering food, everything can be done with just a few clicks. But as every coin has two sides, the risk of getting scammed while doing online transactions is something that cannot be overlooked. In a recent incident, actress Akanksha Juneja got duped of ₹30,000 while she was ordering food online.

Kundali Bhagya actress Akanksha Juneja revealed an incident where she got duped of ₹30,000 while ordering food online. Talking about the incident, Akanksha said that she was ordering food and then received a call. 

The person calling from a company number asked her to click on the link sent to her in order to confirm the order. When she asked about it, the person said that this is the new protocol to confirm the food order. 

Akanksha said that as soon as she clicked on the link, ₹10,000 was deducted from her account. Every 5 minutes, about ₹10,000 were deducted from her account. She kept wondering why and how this was happening.

Called Her Bank And Asked Them To Block Account

After a while, she recalled clicking on a link and thought about it being the reason. Akanksha Juneja immediately called up her bank and asked them to block her account so that the cybercriminal could not withdraw any more money.

Even though she managed to stop the deduction of the amount from her account, she said that the incident was very disheartening. She mentioned how bad it feels when you lose your hard earned money to such phishing. 

She warned people about such online frauds through her story. Akanksha asked everyone to be aware of such fraud and not get fooled. They should refrain from clicking on any links provided from unknown sources, as they can get access to your phone and your bank!
