Venkatesh & Rana Daggubati Enjoy Mumbai Street Food At Hitchki

We love to make our guests fall in love with the incredible Mumbai street food. Especially the ones who do not reside in Mumbai and this is exactly what we did with our guests of this Sunday Brunch episode. The great South Indian uncle-nephew duo, Venkatesh Daggubati and Rana Daggubati met with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani for a candid interview at one of the famous outlets of Hitchki in Mumbai. Watch the video linked below if you are curious about Bahubali 3 updates.

We Took Venkatesh & Rana Daggubati To Hitchki

Kamiya was curious to know about the typical Daggubati Sunday Brunch and was not surprised to discover that it consisted of Hyderabadi dishes. We had to let our South Indian actors get a little taste of Mumbai street food and Hitchki was the best place for that. Kamiya said, “We are doing what we are good at, that is some Mumbaiya street food!”

She asked them whether they’ve tried any yummy Mumbai street food and both of them said yes. She now requested them to name some and Venkatesh said, “Dahi puri and samosa,” while Rana said that he loved vada pav and had tried pani puri and bhel puri. So, they are not entirely new to Mumbai street food.

Next, it was time to begin the Sunday brunching section at Hitchki with delicious pav bhaji, pani puri, sev puri, dahi puri, and cheese chilli toast. It seemed like the delectable pani puri plate was calling out to Rana because he went on to make one for himself with meetha and teekha paani.

Venkatesh took a piece of cheese chilli toast on his plate. But first went for a dahi puri only to devour it within a couple of seconds. He told Kamiya that the dahi puri was amazing which urged her to eat the scrumptious-looking dahi puris. Uff, we are drooling over here!
