Aaditya Thackeray Recommends These Books For Everyone

Bibliophiles always love a good recommendation, especially when it comes from someone who is an ardent reader. Aaditya Thackeray, one of the youngest politicians in India, shared his must-read recommendation on this lovely Sunday Brunch episode with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani. We were in deep conversation with Aaditya about life, Mumbai, climate change, etc. when we discovered one of his dream professions; scroll and read on.

Aaditya Thackeray Recommended This Book

Kamiya was aware of Aaditya’s obsession with reading. Hence, she was particularly curious about which books he would recommend to our Curly Tales followers. He revealed to us that he wants everyone to read ‘Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind’ by Yuval Noah Harari.

Aaditya highlighted how the book talked about the history of humanity. He said, “It is very beautifully written, at least theories of evolution and how homo sapiens came about as a civilisation.” He added that we, as humans, think that we have seen everything but that’s not true. We are still engaging and growing.

This recommendation is also great for those who want to cultivate a habit of reading books regularly. We, too, have noted this book under our to-be-read list, Aaditya.

The next topic we jumped to was travel and Kamiya asked Aaditya, “Do you like to travel?” He told us that he loves travelling to different and unique locations around the world. He also revealed that he is happy to travel to different places as long as they are located on planet Earth and not on the moon!

This made everyone laugh out loud and then he said that he would definitely think about stepping on the moon in the near future. Aaditya continued, “You know a lot of us have a dream of being an astronaut and seeing planet Earth!” We really hope you get to see the beautiful Earth from space soon.
