Abu Dhabi Has Launched A New Bus Service To Get Passengers To Key Destinations Faster

Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s capital, is almost as bustling as Dubai. It receives a large number of visitors on a daily basis. Commutes are a necessary part of living in the capital, regardless of why you’ve come. It is close to several Abu Dhabi public transportation alternatives. Abu Dhabi has launched an express bus service that will transport commuters straight to Abu Dhabi from other Emirates.

Abu Dhabi Express Bus Service

The ITC launched bus service will run through Mussaffah Industrial Area to Mohamed Bin Zayed City. The chances are that they will extend to additional regions as passenger demand increases.
Al Ghazal Transport Company and Emirates Taxi will run 64 buses in the first phase, which begins on Monday. When fully operational, the service will run 680 trips each week. Other stations include Khalifa City, Bani Yas, Al Shahama, Al Falah, and Al Ain.

The establishment of the service strengthens the public-private collaboration by providing more investment opportunities for public transportation providers. The service aims to organise and eliminate haphazard and unapproved modes of transportation.

Bus Timetable

The Department of Municipalities and Transport’s Integrated Transport Centre launched this service. The bus service will operate from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekends and public holidays. During peak hours, it will run every 10 minutes. Apart from that, expect the bus every 25 minutes.

Carry Your Bicycles On Bus

Sounds surreal, though. A new Abu Dhabi bus modification is unique bike-holstering equipment on buses running the Al Reem and Hudayriyat lines. It’s all part of a scheme to encourage residents to get out on their bikes. The plan is part of a more significant effort to improve, diversify, and expand public transportation services. This bus service will provide additional mobility alternatives to residents.
