Attention Adventure Junkies! UK Is All Set To Get Its Tallest Roller Coaster At 72m High In Thorpe Park

Thorpe Park Resort in the UK is coming up with an exhilarating ride for all thrill-seekers. Located near the village of Thorpe, this amusement park was the second most visited abode in 2020. Thorpe Park already includes some major attractions like Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth, Saw – The Ride, and many more. However, the park has upped its game with the new ‘Project Exodus’.

Thorpe Park Has A New Secret Ride

Project Exodus will be built in the underused Old Town area. Also, this new ride will be partly positioned over water. Its height will be 72 meters, 10 meters above Stealth ride, the park’s famous ride. Project Exodus is a crucial element in the post-COVID-19 recovery of the park. The authorities have given a green light to this project. However, the date of opening for this new thrilling ride is not yet confirmed.

The Resort Will Be Redeveloped

The redevelopment of this resort will include the removal of some existing rides. These include Lumber Jump, Rocky Express and Timber Tug Boat. Also, authorities will create an expected 89 jobs during construction. There will be approximately 25 to 30 full-time job opportunities with around 120 part-time ones. An estimated amount of £13.6 million will be used for visitor expenditure. The redevelopment of the resort is going to be very fruitful. Renewals and redevelopment are a way of sustaining the competition for amusement parks in the tourism market.

Thorpe Park is making efforts to utilize the unused space and renewing other rides. This change will definitely have a good impact on the company’s financial recovery. It will surely gift the thrill-seekers new attractions.
