Travel in a Bell helicopter, which carries around 5 to 6 passengers. Board your helicopter either from the Electronic City helipad or Jakkur Aerodrome. After a picturesque ride across the city, you will be dropped back at the same spot. Govind Nair, head of Business Development, Thumby Aviation stated to Bangalore Mirror “These services offer a 10-minute ride over Bengaluru and are available only during the weekends.” You can also take a private chopper between two cities in India starting from ₹12,000 per person.

Measures Taken By Thumby Aviation To Ensure Hygiene & Social Distancing In The Helicopter

These rides are only available on demand. One family or group can book the entire helicopter and have a safe and contactless experience. The aviation firm kickstarted these weekend trip on September 13, 2020 taking all necessary hygiene and safety measures. In fact, the pilots’ cabin and passsengers’ cabins are separated. The cabins also have separate AC vents.
