International Passengers Now Travelling To Canada Need To Present A Test Certificate Taken 72 Hours Before Arrival
According to the new travel update, people will now have to provide a covid-19 negative certificate taken no more than three days before arrival. The update was announced by Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc and Public Safety Minister Bill Blair on Wednesday. For the new regulations, the authorities will now speak and consult the airlines and will then finalise the rules. The Country Is Now Taking Measures After The Country Reported Fresh Cases Of New Covid-19 Strain
Initially, travellers were required to quarantine for 14-days after arrival. The testing requirement is meant to add another layer of protection not only for the passengers but also for the citizens. When it comes to travelling amid the pandemic, public health officials have also been advising Canadians to travel only for essential reasons.
