Fully vaccinated Indian travellers can visit an array of countries without needing to take RT-PCR tests. In a bid to boost tourism and bring it back to pre-pandemic levels, many countries have scrapped RT-PCR tests, removed or reduced quarantine periods for fully vaccinated tourists. So, here are 6 countries Indians can fly to without an RT-PCR test.

1. Egypt

The Pyramids of Giza is just a flight ticket away as Egypt has removed travel restrictions, especially the RT-PCR test requirement for fully vaccinated tourists. Covid-19 vaccinations like Covishield and AstraZeneca has been approved by Egypt, but Coviaxin hasn’t been lifted. So, if you’re fully vaccinated with the approved Covid-19 vaccines, then all you need to do is fill out a health declaration form before your departure. Bon Voyage!

2. Denmark

Why gorge on store-bought Danish cookies, when you can visit the nation and try it fresh for yourself? We aren’t kidding. Denmark now welcomes fully vaccinated tourists and those who’ve recovered from the virus without any testing needed. This travel guideline was implemented from February 1 onwards. Denmark approves any vaccination that is approved by WHO and European Medicines Agency. However, post 9 months of your vaccines, you’d need a booster shot to enter the country.

3. Croatia

4. Switzerland

In a bid to attract tourists back to its snow-capped mountains and ski slopes, Switzerland has scrapped its PCR tests for fully vaccinated tourists and those who can show proof that they recovered from coronavirus. Ro travel to Switzerland, you need to fill out an online form. Similar to other countries if your Covid-19 second dose was taken 9 months earlier, then you would need a booster dose before you visit Switzerland.

5. Turkey

Turkey recently changed its name to Turkiye, as it accurately represents the values, culture and civilisation of the Turkish nation. The country’s national exports, tourism and government websites already reflect the change in name. So, if you want to visit Turkiye, you will be expected from RT-PCR tests on arrival if you’re fully vaccinated. All you need to do is fill out a health declaration form at least 72 hours before you travel. Children under 12 years of age don’t need to take a Covid-19 vaccine. Turkey also removed quarantine for fully vaccinated Indian arrivals.

6. France

Visit the world’s most romantic spot, the Eiffel Tower in Paris without any hesitations, hassle-free even RT-PCR test free. Didn’t get it? Well, France is the latest country on the list to scrap its RT-PCR tests for all fully vaccinated travellers. Earlier, France permitted this freedom to all travellers arriving at the nation from EU countries. But now all tourists irrespective of the country they come from can visit France without any Rt-PCR tests if they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Similar to Switzerland, you need to take a booster shot if it’s 9 months since you took the second dose before your travel to France.
