Travel enthusiasts! There’s good news for you. Switzerland had earlier decided to welcome fully vaccinated people and recovered COVID-19 travellers to the country, without having to produce a COVID-19 test report. And now, the Swiss Federal Council has announced that the country is lifting all health-related measures for travellers from low-risk countries. This means, incoming travellers to Switzerland from low-risk countries mainly from EU will no longer need to produce vaccination proof, negative certificates or recovery certificates. As announced by the council, the relaxations have come into effect from February 17.

However, travellers from India will still have to provide negative RT-PCR test report or proof of vaccination since India still falls under high-risk category.
Switzerland Allows People To Go Mask Free
Not only is Switzerland easing entry requirements, but it has lifted many other COVID-19 related measures as well. People can go mask free in restaurants, shops and most other public places in Switzerland now, as per the announcement. However, wearing masks will still remain mandatory in public transport and healthcare institutions. The country has also eased entry restrictions to cinemas and theatres. The Swiss Government Temporarily Hikes Service Fee For Visa Applications
The Swiss Embassy has made the announcement of the issuance of a Schengen visa (Type C) for those who want to travel to Switzerland. The government of Switzerland has also decided to temporarily hike the service fee for Visa applications in Visa Application Centers (VAC) of External Service Providers (ESP).
