2. Skydive Dubai Sets New Global Record For Inaugural World Skydiving Day

Celebrating the inaugural World Skydiving Day on July 13, 2024, Skydive Dubai joined dropzones worldwide. Yes, Skydive Dubai registered 367 jumps to mark this day and this included tandem and fun jumps, along with a 20-way formation by Skydive Dubai staff.

3. Saudia Wins Most Advanced Airline In The World

Saudia, which is the national carrier of Saudi Arabia recently revealed that it won the Most Advanced Airline in the World for the third time in a room. Yes, they were given this award according to the World Classification 2024 and in the post, they revealed how they were proud to have been voted as winner for this category.

4. Oman Air Is Running Sale For Economic Class Tickets

If you’re looking to travel this summer, then you will be pleased to know that Oman Air is offering a discount of 20% on its fair for Economic Class. The sale is valid till July 31 and the travel period should be between July 23 to August 31. However, the offer is available only on selected Economy Class seats and is applicable on one-way and return flights. It’s worth noting that the offer will be applicable on destinations on the Oman Air network, which excludes the domestic sector. Additionally, the sale does not apply to interline partners or codeshare flights.

5. Road Closure In Doha

The Ministry of Interior – Qatar asked the drivers to be aware of the temporary traffic closure of the left and parallel lanes at the Air Cargo Intersection towards the Hamad International Airport. This is for a distance of 7 km and the closure will stay in place till August 20, 2024. However, people can follow alternative routes, as indicated in the maps attached in the post.

6. SalamAir Is Offering A Discount

SalamAir is a low-cost airline from Oman and they are running a fantastic sale for the people. Yes, they are offering flights from OMR19 between Muscat and Salalah for travel between September 16 to December 15. However, the sale ends on July 31 and the low fares are also available on their international routes to the cities of Dubai, Delhi, and other destinations.

8. 15+ People Die Due to Heatwave In Morocco

Due to the severe heatwave in Morocco, it was reported that 21 people have already been killed in a period of 24 hours. The soaring temperatures have affected much of the North African country from Monday to Wednesday. However, the ministry was unable to mention if this was the highest recorded death toll from the heatwave in the country.

10. Summer Fruits See Increased Demand In AlUla

It was recently revealed that there is an increase in demand for summer fruits in AlUla. As a result, grapes are leading the sale presently. It’s worth mentioning that the AlUla governate produces about 1,125 tons of mangoes annually, in an area of 125 ha. Therein 50,000 trees are planted and the area is dedicated to fig, pomegranate, and grape farms.
