If you’re in Lucknow, chances are, you’ve heard of the popular Model Wali Chai run by Miss Gorakhpur, Simran Gupta. Food blogger ‘The Hungry Panjabi,’ shared a video of the tea stall that ended up going viral.
The video was shared five days ago and has already managed to garner more than 261,000 likes and even more views. The video shows the model making tea with rose petals and serving it in a kulhad.
However, her hair is untied and she is not using gloves. A couple of times during the video, she sways her hair back and forth. This made a number of people question the hygiene of the stall and worry about hair getting the chai.

Many took to the comments section to poke fun at the model’s untied hair. One commenter called it “Dandruff waali chai” while another commenter called it hair-flavoured tea. A number of people also raised objections to her not wearing gloves.
One commenter pointed out that on top of not wearing gloves, she is also touching her hair constantly and then touching the food. Another commenter said that all the dandruff should be dusted into the tea so she can call it cheese waali chai.
Despite the harsh comments, it is important to be mindful and encouraging of entrepreneurial spirit. At the end of the day, the venture is innovative and has potential.
