Recently, Kayu Bakehouse announced on its Instagram account that the good folks here plan to expand to Riyadh soon. Yes, they will probably be stationed in Midtown Riyadh, going by their Instagram post. Co-founded by celebrity chef Karim Bourgi, Kayu Bakehouse offers a variety of decadent desserts that are the perfect fix for sugar cravings. Although no opening date has been given yet, we certainly do hope it happens soon! After all, who would want to miss out on the opportunity to indulge in some heavenly desserts not too far away?

As mentioned above, this dessert parlour specialises in French desserts and uses natural ingredients to whip up these delicacies. In case you’re wondering, the name means a patient, meticulous person enjoying work in a detailed and systematic way. This makes sense, given the amount of attention to detail given to each dessert is simply astounding. So, we really do hope that they bring along their sinful-looking Viennoiseries, Bbanofee Flower Pie, Fleur Stracciatella, and Millefeuille. With so many delicious desserts on offer, it’s hardly surprising that foodies are often left spoilt for choice, the moment they step into the bakehouse.
Going by their bio, the bakehouse also plans to open soon in Abu Dhabi as well, which just means you might find this eatery, the next time you visit the emirate.
