Reach India in collaboration with Lahaul and Spiti administration is all set to host a Snow Marathon on March 26. Lahaul & Spiti Hosts India’s First Snow Marathon
According to a report by The Indian Express, the snow marathon in Lahaul and Spiti would be a more challenging marathon than other formats. The first snow marathon in India is believed to enhance the ability of runners and may also become an annual affair. There will be 4 categories in the snow marathon. The first is the full marathon where participants must run 42 km. There are three types of half marathons spanning 21 km, 10 km and 5 km.

Runners From India & Abroad Can Participate
The snow marathon will host runners from India and abroad. Fortis Hospital Mohali is the medical partner for the events. During the entirety of the snow marathon, doctors, paramedics and two modern life-saving ambulances will be ready to ensure medical assistance in case of emergencies.
