People here are calm and carry a smile proudly, something that’s hard to find amidst Delhi traffic and mundane disasters. 2. Oddbird Theatre
This has become the host of Delhi’s most exclusive events very quickly. The people involved in managing and organizing this place and its engagements are usually artists themselves craving a dip in the pool of likeminded people. Volunteering here is a batch of honour. It periodically schedules mental wellness programs, dance workshops, musical gigs, the likes of Lifafa and Dee En have performed here for a small crowd. They have a small but great library of unusual books. This place makes you feel like you can be whoever you want to be. It’s definitely Dhan Mill Compound’s big win.
3. Now, food
Café Dori is the ultimate food place in not just Dhan Mill Compound but, arguably in all of Delhi. Its popularity, while well-deserved, makes it a bit hard to find a table easily. So, be prepared to wait because there’s no way you can go back without trying their waffles. Their menu is nothing like you’ve ever seen before. The best part? Dogs are welcome! This pet friendly place has a special area for pets and a pet menu too! If you’re wondering if Café Dori sounds all too familiar to one of the Delhi’s much-loved brands, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. The café shares space with none other than Nappa Dori. People come here to work on weekdays and to forget work on the weekends.
4. Don’t shop till you drop
Shopping in Dhan Mill Compound is almost a meditative experience. These stores will stir your creative juices and leave you inspired with design, craft and display. All too famous Pernia’s Pop-up Studio opened a branch here, but she’s not the only player in the arena. Ready to wear label Love Birds has a unique charm and tie-and-dye masters Bloni give tradition a contemporary twist. Wedding season sees brides to be finding hope that was once lost at Delhi at Vintage Co. Divyam Mehta’s Store is gaining popularity among Delhi men.

5. Not just clothes
Didn’t we say shopping at Dhan Mill Compound is about creativity? Even only window shopping here is a luxury you shouldn’t miss out on. Claymen showcases a unique style of clay sculptures based on the modern man and his dilemmas. Artisan Food Collective has the organic condiments of your dreams. Pet lovers can waltz into Stars and Snowflakes by Aastha for some pawsome pleasure. We saved a big one for last. Big Dance Arena and Crossfit Himalayan Gym are considered crown jewels by regulars.
