And now, to increase the number of tourists in the state, the government is planning to introduce new tourism policies.

New Tourism Policies Will Give Way To A New Himachal

Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, said on June 16 that the government is planning new tourism strategies. This is in an effort to boost the number of visitors to the state. The plan is to increase tourism by highlighting lesser-known locations and utilising the natural splendour that the state has.

The creation of a roller skating rink in Sakoh, a golf course in Paragpur, a high-end resort in Menjha, a tourism village in Narghota, and an Aero City, all in Kangra, were among the projects that were considered to make Kangra district the state’s tourism centre.

Additionally, the government plans to build a theme-based satellite town at Naura Khad, which is part of the district’s Nagrota Bagwaan assembly sector.

Ofcourse, people flock to Himachal Pradesh for its unparalleled natural beauty, thrilling adventure activities, cultural and spiritual heritage, and the chance to escape the scorching heat.

Airports And Helipads Are Set For Expansion

Nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, the state is a heaven. There are majestic mountains, verdant valleys, and pristine landscapes everywhere. The sight of snow-capped peaks, such as the mighty Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges, leaves visitors awe-struck.

In addition to these projects, the government plans to establish additional heliports around the state. They even plan to expand the Kangra airport and create a greenfield airport at Nagchala in the Mandi district. Jaskot, Rakkar and Palampur, Sultanpur, Manali, Jispa, Sissu, Rangrik and Sharbo are among the nine places for heliports.

Moreover, the Himachal Pradesh administration hopes to realise the full potential of tourism with these extensive plans and initiatives.

Moreover, the state truly offers a harmonious blend of nature. There’s adventure, culture, and serenity that leave an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of its visitors.
