Revellers made a mockery of Covid-19 norms to attend Carnival in Panjim, the first government-organised tourism festival in the state post-lockdown. The Carnival Witnessed A Mix Of Tradition And Creativity
Since the state is open to tourists, many vloggers and YouTubers attended the Carnival and shared pictures of the various tableaux on social media. The carnival parade witnessed a mix of tradition and creativity in the tableaux that consisted of floats in multiple categories. Each of the floats has a social message to impart. One of the floats depicted the need to save the forests. They feature a statue of malnourished human breathing oxygen through a ventilator attached to a plant.
