Gul’s Cycling Expedition To The Baralacha Pass
Himachal Pradesh‘s Lahaul district is connected to Ladakh’s Leh by the Baralacha Pass in the Zanskar range which is a high mountain pass. Gul with her dad and a couple of friends went on a cycling expedition to the Baralacha Pass. She shared the challenges that she faced on her way through an Instagram post. He began the post talking about climate change with pictures from her trip to the same place in 2002. She shared how the roads are now dusty and rocky with the struggle that begins with the altitude in the last few kilometres. According to her reason is not the height but the single largest transition in altitude. She could feel her lungs bursting. It is completely a mind game and controlling your breath and going on pedalling is how Gul describes survival.

Gul With The Golden Girl And The Gang
Gul further shared more pictures from her cycle expedition which featured all of them posing at the Gata Loops. She shared a post talking about her friend Manisha Malhotra who was a professional tennis player. She represented India in the Asian Games and Olympics and other major competitions in the world. As the Director of Sports Excellence Programmes and Talent Scouting for JSW Sports Pvt Ltd, she was a silver medalist at the Busan Asian Games. Furthermore, she is known as the Golden girl, who was behind the performances of Neeraj Chopra and Abhinav Bindra, both of whom won individual Olympic gold medals.
