Haven’t we all grown up watching occasional South Indian films that streamed on television? After being exposed to the same old Bollywood content on a regular basis, these movies from the South have a unique charm that feels refreshing. The craze for this movie industry has been on the rise constantly. The industry recently received the credit it deserved, particularly following the release of Bahubali. Rana Daggubati and his uncle, South Indian superstar Venkatesh Daggubati, joined our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani on this episode of Sunday Brunch. Venkatesh & Rana Daggubati’s Sunday Brunches At Home

On this Sunday Brunch, we were sure it was going to be a treat for them. However, it was important to understand how they spent their Sunday brunches at home. Especially after realising how much they loved food, our curiosity grew stronger. Both Venkatesh and Rana shared that they typically include Natu Kodi, Rice, and Pulusu in their meals, which are traditional Andhra and Telugu fare. In addition, they enjoy lamb chops prepared in the Andhra style. That certainly sounds like a decadent spread, doesn’t it? Rana also shared how hearty the food at their Sunday brunch is, and we have to agree.

The Duo Admitted To Getting ‘Hangry’ Easily

This Sunday brunch served as the perfect opportunity to learn more about the iconic duo. Rana revealed how particular he is about the timing of his meals. According to him, he reaches a point where he can no longer stand his hunger and must eat. When we asked him if he adheres to a particular diet, he said that his eating habits are more constrained by the time of day than by the foods he consumes.  He acknowledged that if his meals are delayed, he becomes “hangry.” He also added that his uncle, Venkatesh Daggubati, is even worse at handling hunger. It surely appears that the family possesses this genetic trait.
