On the latest episode of Curly Tales Sunday Brunch, our Chief Travel Officer Kamiya Jani invited the cast of Double XL Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, and Zaheer Iqbal to One8 Commune. The trio competed in laddoo and toran-making competitions along with a scrumptious meal. They also pulled each others’ legs to the fullest which proved that all three of them share an unbreakable bond.
While chatting, Huma Qureshi revealed how she celebrates Diwali every year.
Huma Qureshi Loves Attending Diwali Card Parties
As the festive season is going around, Kamiya asked our guests about what the festive season means for them. Huma revealed that Diwali is her favourite festival. She waits for it all year long, because this is the time of the year when you go and meet all your friends. She celebrates it by attending all the amazing Diwali card parties and playing cards with her friends. Huma also mentioned that they play it because ‘playing cards’ is considered a shagun, and it’s a symbol of Lakshmi Ji, and wealth coming to your home.
When Kamiya asked Huma “Aapka luck kaisa h?”, the actress replied that currently, it’s great. Zaheer teased Huma by telling her about a popular saying “if you’re lucky in love, then you’re unlucky in cards.” Huma subtly replied “Right now I am lucky in cards”.

Festive Season For Sonakshi Means Extra Calories
Kamiya asked the same question about the festive season to Sonakshi, in reply to which she pointed at the table filled with food. Sonakshi said, “Festive season for me means extra calories, fun laughter, happiness, and togetherness.” She later also mentioned that her mother cooks Sindhi curry, aloo ka token, fried bhindi, and malpua for festive brunch which she loves.
