“Home Is Home,” Parmish Verma Reveals Why Patiala Is So Close To His Heart

In the latest episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, stepped into singer-actor Parmish Verma’s new home in Mohali, enjoyed a delicious egg sandwich with him, and headed out for a gedi through the streets of the city in his favourite car. Here’s how it all went down.

No Matter Where Parmish Verma Goes, Patiala Will Always Be Home!

While giving us a tour of his new home, Parmish Verma revealed that his family will most likely continue living in their ancestral home in Patiala instead of moving to Mohali. “They enjoy living in Patiala and honestly, there is too much pressure living outside of Patiala. When I am there, I am myself. Outside of Patiala, I am Parmish Verma, that’s too much of a job to maintain. Patiala is just too peaceful,” he candidly shared.

Despite being a global star who has also spent a significant amount of time in Australia before becoming a singer, Parmish says Punjab still feels the most like home. Curious about his deep connection with the state, Kamiya asked why he still preferred living there. “Ghar, ghar hi hota hai ji (home is home). At the end of the day, regardless of how much money you make or how successful you become, you only find peace at home. So, Punjab is just home,” he said.

Inside His New Mohali Home

Did you know we were the first to get a sneak peek inside Parmish Verma’s new home in Mohali? The massive property features sprawling lawns, a beautiful central courtyard reminiscent of traditional Indian homes, stunning interiors, and, surprisingly, only two bedrooms!

The reason? Parmish admits he isn’t too fond of hosting guests. According to him, the only people regularly visiting the house will be his close friends and brothers, and they are welcome to crash anywhere in the spacious home.

One of the most special parts of the house is its peaceful surroundings. Located close to several gurudwaras, the home wakes up to the soothing sound of gurbani every morning, giving the entire space a calm and spiritual vibe.
