When Will Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Launch?
The second Vande Bharat Express train on the Bengaluru-Mumbai route is all set for inauguration on November 1, 2026. The launch coincides with Karnataka Rajyotsava. According to Business Today, the train is expected to connect Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) in Bengaluru with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai, covering 1,118 km.
What Are The Timings Of This Train?
The train will leave Bengaluru at 7:50 PM and reach Mumbai at 11:55 AM the next day. The return train will depart from Mumbai at 8:10 PM and arrive in Bengaluru at 11:55 AM the following day. The train is expected to cover the journey in around 16 hours and run six days a week.

What Are The Stoppages Of This Train?
The Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper train is expected to stop at seven stations during its journey. As per Business Today, these stations are Anantapur, Guntakal, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Solapur, Pune and Kalyan. The train will have 16 coaches across three categories: AC three-tier, AC two-tier and AC first class.
The new sleeper train is expected to have 823 sleeping berths. As for the fares, Indian Railways has not yet officially announced the ticket prices or booking details. This overnight train could change how people plan their travel between these cities by saving them several hours.
