What started as a light-hearted moment on television has turned into one of the internet’s favourite running jokes, with fans rallying behind Saif Ali Khan in his quest for a promised two-year supply of ghee. Not only that, but Saif Ali Khan fans have even made a fun page asking the brand to supply the ghee to him. Want to know more? Read on!
Saif Ali Khan Fans Make An Account To Help Him Get His Supply Of Ghee
In late September, Saif appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 alongside Akshay Kumar to promote their film Haiwaan. During the episode, host Amitabh Bachchan told the actors, “If you can answer the 10th question as well, then you will win a two-year supply of ghee.” Saif’s reaction quickly won over viewers. Grinning from ear to ear, the actor exclaimed, “Wow, Whatt!!” before adding, “This is it; this is why I came.” His enthusiastic response went viral, with social media users amused by his excitement over the prospect of receiving two years’ worth of ghee.
However, the promised prize appears to be taking its time. In two recent interviews, Saif revealed that he is yet to receive the ghee, prompting fans to step in and help him claim what they believe is rightfully his. An Instagram account, @gheeonsaifside, has now joined the campaign, urging Gowardhan Ghee to fulfil the promise. The page refers to the prize as Saif’s “2 saal ka Gauravshali Gowardhan Ghee” and has adopted the tone of a mock protest.
“Hum tab tak nahi rukenge, jab tak Saifu ko unka haq nahi mil jaata,” reads one of its statements, which translates to a promise not to stop until Saif gets what he deserves.

The campaign has also made its way to an online petition, which has gathered 34 signatures so far. Its description pokes fun at the actor’s repeated requests for the prize, claiming that Saif has publicly asked for his ghee more often than most people ask for a salary hike. “How many more national platforms must a man visit before someone takes their dairy demands seriously?” the petition asks.
It goes on to encourage people to sign, adding, “Not all heroes wear capes. Some just want their dosa crispy.”
As soon as the account was made, it quickly got too many followers and people started commenting asking for the brand to supply Saif Ali Khan the ghee.
In one of the video, one user wrote, “Give him his “Danedaar ghee”.
Another wrote, “Why they are missing out on the best brand ambassador.”
