Indian Railway has installed the first movable freshwater tunnel aquarium in Bengaluru Railway station. This aquatic kingdom is home to a rare species of fish and exotic marine plants. It’s an enjoyable learning experience for both kids and adults at an entree fee of just 25. Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation Ltd(IRSDC) in partnership with HNi Aquatic Kingdom has developed this unique movable freshwater tunnel aquarium in Bengaluru Railway station. Amid the pandemic, 25 people can visit at a time paying an entry fee of just 25. This 12-feet-long Aquatic Kingdom with exotic marine plants and rare species of fish will be both fun and educational experience for visitors. The Aquatic Kingdom also has a stellar 3D selfie area. Here, a big fish will pop out of the aquarium and stun everyone. The one-of-a-kind movable tunnel aquarium has plants, marine and tropical sections with a variety of colourful flora and fauna.

Witness Aquatic Animals Like Alligators Lobsters, Snails & Eels

Moreover, it houses aquatic animals like stingrays, eels, sharks, shrimps, snails, lobsters and alligators that are 2-3 feet long. With around 20-feet of glass periphery, the aquarium is decorated with artificial coral rocks, natural rocks and driftwood. Apart from enhancing passenger experience for those travelling from or arriving at Bengaluru Railway station, this aquarium will also be a revenue earner for Indian Railways. IRSDC MD and CEO S K Lohia stated to news agencies that the aquatic kingdom will entice visitors and will be both an enjoyable and educative experience of a life-size kingdom of fishes.
