Is Your Food Safe? Abu Dhabi’s Jafco Supermarket Shuts Down For Ignoring Food Safety Guidelines

In order to make sure that the food offered to the general public is safe, food inspectors visit eateries. Authorities recently ordered the closure of a Jafco grocery chain branch in Abu Dhabi due to violations of food safety regulations. Law No. 2 of 2008 was allegedly broken by Jafco Supermarket Of Abu Dhabi, according to the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA).

Multiple Violation Related Warning Were Given To This Supermarket

Before being shut down, the outlet received a final warning and four fines. Failures at the grocery branch were deemed to be in high danger by health officials. The remarks pertaining to the facility’s failure to meet food safety and health regulations persisted throughout subsequent inspections. The establishment was ultimately shut down by the authorities because it did not follow the rules for food safety.

According to the ADAFSA, the official shutdown order won’t end until all of the facility’s standards are met, the infractions are fixed, and food safety and health are guaranteed. To protect the public and make sure they adhere to regulations on food safety, supermarkets and restaurants around the Emirate are routinely examined.

The general public is advised to report any problems if they notice anything strange about food safety or have any suspicions about it.
