Jaipur Welcomes Couples For Pre & Post Wedding Shoots At Monuments

The Rajasthan government now permits pre and post-wedding shoots at iconic museums and monuments in Jaipur. Senior officials at the Art, Literature, Culture and Archaeology Department issued a notification for the same on February 1. And the department issues an order for this new initiative on February 2. This new policy states that parties interested in pre and post-wedding shoots can get exclusive access to Jaipur’s monuments for a fixed amount. But interested parties must also follow guidelines and ensure that antiques aren’t damaged or religious sentiments aren’t hurt.

Get Exclusive Access To Jaipur’s Monuments For Wedding Shoots At ₹5,000  Onwards

Prakash Chandra Sharma, director of the Archaeology and Museum Department of Jaipur stated to The Indian Express, “As per the new rules, if somebody wants to shoot pre and post-wedding shoots at such historical monuments/ museums, then they will have to pay ₹5,000 for every two hours if the shoot is during office hours. For shoots before or after office hours, they will have to pay ₹15,000 per hour.” He added that earlier these shoots took place without any proper guidelines in place. But now, couples can opt for pre and post-wedding shoots at monuments like Albert Hall, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Vidhyadhar ka Bagh and Isarlat to name a few places.

Mugdha Sinha, Secretary, Art, Literature, Culture and Archaeology Department informed the Indian Express that earlier these shoots were not institutionalised.
